Dr. Koos Vossen, MD
Koos Vossen completed medical school in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He was an intern in the Emergency Help department and practiced medicine for a number of years before starting his own business. He is considered an environmental health expert. At Randstad – one of the world's largest placement agencies – he was responsible for the healthcare business line. He founded ARTS-EN-WERK, a company that is a matchmaker between supply and demand for physicians and medical specialists. One of his assets is a huge network of fellow doctors around the world, which together with Mr. Carter's expertise of the translation industry, has become one of the foundations of MedCom International. Next to this business, Dr. Vossen is active in starting up companies in the health care industry and has a thorough knowledge of the healthcare field.

Daniel Carter
Daniel is a translation industry veteran with over 20 years on both the client and supplier side. He started his carrier at Microsoft as a Systems Engineer and has had roles as QA Manager, European Support Manager, and Group Localization Manager for Operating Systems and Hardware products. He founded and ran his own localization company - International Software Products - for over a decade. He was one of the founding Board members of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) and is still active in the industry association. In addition, he is currently the Deputy President of TILP. He has founded numerous companies, the most recent being Medical Communication International. Daniel is an industry consultant and an active advisor/investor in translation and technology companies. He has published numerous articles and in 1992 published one of the first books on localization.
